Water slides about 45 metres down the face of the Chandra Drona hill straight past the Kalahasteeswara (Veerabhadra) temple built into the rock. Because you can reach it almost to the base by road, it is one of the easiest falls in the district for families and older travellers.

The rock temple beside the fall is dedicated to Veerabhadra and gives the site its pilgrimage character.
Travel tips
The water falls over the rock behind the Veerabhadra temple, so this is a temple visit as much as a waterfall one. About 50 km from town on the Kemmanagundi road. It is a series of small cascades rather than one drop — do not come expecting Hebbe.
