A cottage stay at about 3,500 ft on the foothills of Kudremukh peak, surrounded by tea estate with private waterfalls and trekking spots on the land. Balconies sit in the mist, and the kitchen serves Malnad-style food — a veg and non-veg buffet, with Malnad and Indian cuisine at lunch and dinner. Activities are the quiet kind: the infinity hammock, a walk to the private waterfall, estate walks, campfire, music and birdwatching. Deliberately unplugged — there is no air conditioning and no WiFi.
