Sirimane Falls
A stepped, family-friendly fall near Kigga
A broad cascade near Kigga, about 15 km beyond Sringeri, set in areca and rainforest. Proper steps lead down to the base and there are changing rooms, which makes it one of the safest and easiest falls in the district to visit with children and elders.

Travel tips
About 20 km from Sringeri towards Kigga, and small by design — the appeal is that you can stand under it. There are changing rooms and a ticket counter. Best from July to December.

Do: use the changing rooms rather than the roadside. Do: obey the rope line when the flow is high. Don't: climb above the fall. Don't: bring alcohol — it is prohibited and enforced. Don't: leave clothes or plastic at the pool.
